This is the third part of the radio documentary about the history of the Soviet - American space race. The program was prepared with Ewa Niewiadomska and Witek Orzech with cooperation of mr Howard Benedict from AP. This part covers historical flight of Alan Shepard - the first American in space.

When I think of this “nightmare” they went thru I keep realizing what it takes to be an astronaut. The story of “Kursk” is still in my mind. They did not have any chance so in space chances are nil. Luckily they landed and capsule did not sink. Good for them. Good article.

Bardzo sie ucieszylem gdy wrocilem do domu i po pobraniu rssow zobaczylem, ze nowy odcinek jest dostepny.
